Introducing Whitney Wares!
New Logo for Whitney Wares
Dear Art Enthusiast Friends,
Excited to introduce Whitney Wares! I have been working diligently behind the scenes on a rebrand and taking this artistic business that I love so much to the next level. A key part of this process is developing both a name and logo that better tells the story of the brand.
First, the logo features a pencil, because all of my original artwork is drawn by hand with pencil.
The antlers reference my love of wildlife, the mountains, and American landscapes. The first artwork that I entered into the Newport Art Museum’s Juried Members’ Exhibition was titled “American Horn Quintet” and illustrated a moose, deer, bison, ram, and longhorn steer, all of which now feature prominently in my Wildlife Rack Collection. At the opening reception for that exhibition back in 2015, the artwork won the Drawing award and led me to meeting fellow artists who welcomed me into the Newport art circle and are still good friends today. The logo’s antlers swoop so naturally into a ‘W’ - it seems it was meant to be!
The nautical knot is a nod to my longtime love of boats and the nautical lifestyle on the water. The reef knot is intertwined bringing balance and connection and representing how effortlessly the artwork can integrate within the home and elevate a space.
The crest is a symbol of steadfast tradition, quality, and heritage that withstands the test of time. The shape often appears in family crests, and I have long envisioned the dinnerware line as heirloom quality pieces at the heart of your tablescapes, elevating the atmosphere and surrounded by family and friends brought together over warm food and good conversation.
Welcome to the new Whitney Wares. I am so glad you’re here.
