SPRING ARTISAN MARKET - SHEPHERD’S RUN WINERY

On Sunday May 18th, sunshine and bluebird skies welcomed artisans and art enthusiasts to the beautifully manicured grounds of Shepherd’s Run Winery in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The winery hosts seasonal artisan markets. Emerging from a very rainy Spring, we were all quite content that the weather cooperated for this special day. There were about fifteen vendors showcasing all types of handmade items lining the cul-de-sac driveway in front of the chateaux style main building. Whitney Wares’ table was set up next to good friend Gwen, owner of Simply Chickie organic baby clothing, and a couple of tables down was Caroline of Atlantic Soap Company, all three of us are active attendees to the New England Coastal Creative summits and events. We even had a surprise visit from Kim the founder of the NECC and the queen of connecting creatives! Making your way around the circle, there was Kirstin owner of Vitamin Sea & Co and fellow member of the Newport Artists Collective. Under the stone porte-cochère, sat musician Lainey Dionne perched on a stool, strumming her guitar, and serenading us all throughout the afternoon. Huge thank you to the Shepherd’s Run event staff for curating yet another magical atmosphere and artisan market!
